Well, I've made it to 17 Weeks. Now I'm actually 17 weeks and 5 days. I had my appointment yesterday. It was such a HUGE relief to hear the heartbeat. I'd been anxious for days about it. I'm up to 123 lbs. Which is only 3 more than pre-pregnancy. I guess that is something to be glad about. I was there on the table while my doctor was attempting to find the baby's heart rate. It took him what felt like forever to find it. My anxiety levels kept going higher and higher until finally that wonderful, familiar sound came out the doppler. The beat was going between 147 and 153 bpm. So the average is 150 bpm. Baby should be about 5 inches and 5 oz. How exciting is that!? We were able to set up our ultrasound appointment. I will know the gender of my little bean on October 20th. I'm so thrilled about it. And nervous. I'm really nervous about what I'll find out. I am seriously hoping for a girl this time around but... I feel like with my luck I'll be having a 4th boy. I don't want to feel disappointment if I am having a boy. I don't know how to prevent that though. Let's just hope for the best I guess. Well...
