SURPRISE! 19 Weeks

19 Weeks

 Well. 19 weeks. How about that? I'm almost 1/2 way. Nausea is only slight, fatigue is high.. and SI Joint Pain is killing me. I cried the other day after walking around a lot. I just lied in bed and cried in pain. Hopefully it doesn't get worse... Chances are it will though. And that's just something I'll have to deal with. I talked to the OB about it and he said he'd send me to physical therapy if it does get worse to try and help it. I know aches and pains are normal for pregnancy. But this was worse than the normal. I've never had the "sciatica pain" before. I think I've just worn my body out from all these pregnancies I've been having. The poor thing hasn't had a chance to heal.

Anyway, on to better news! We got my ultrasound pushed up to this morning. It was so nice to be able to go in and relieve some stress and know that baby is okay. The heart looked great from the regular ultrasound but I'll be getting a fetal echo-cardiogram in a couple weeks and we'll know for sure if everything is alright then. Baby's heart rate was 140. And it looked adorable. We got to see it in the 4D even though the positioning wasn't as good as we would have hoped. The little thing was so funny... So curled up in a ball even with so much room in my tummy. It always fun to see the baby kick and feel it in your stomach.

So... I'm sure your curiosity must be killing you... Am I having a boy? Or have I gotten my wish and it's a girl?

I can't even express how excited I am. I was literally bouncing around after my appointment. The sonographer said it is definitely a girl. She is going to be so beautiful. I'm so happy. We went and bought the cute little booties and headband today to take this photo. It's funny how all the outfits were so adorable for little girls before I knew it was a girl.. and when I went today... none of them seem... good enough. Heh. Only the best for this little Elllianna Jo :)
