False assumptions

So yesterday I went to l&d with contractions 5 min apart. Turns out it was false labor. No progression unfortunately. We were there for a few hours which is always exhausting. 

I've continued to have contractions on and off. They can be seriously painful. To the point where I focus only on them and my breathing. But not all of them are that way. And they are very irregular and inconsistent. It's tough. I was hoping she'd come today for Patrick's birthday but she hasn't. It'll be okay. I need to just relax. 

Which I attempted to do tonight. I took a bath (which these days is a daily ritual) and then afterwards I decided to remove my nail/toenail polish. Whilst doing my toes I smushed my stomach and could hardly breathe. I managed to get then clipped and polish removed and filed. But I definitely never want to do that this pregnant again!! It's awful!!

So I'm 38+3. Never gotten this far pregnant before. Never been this bug before. I think I'm all belly though. I haven't gained as much weight this pregnancy either. Pat says if you look at me directly from behind you couldn't tell I'm pregnant. Nice compliment. :)

Well!! In going to continue relaxing and trying to think about other things aside from labor!
